YouTube, Boredom, YouTube, Boredom

Good afternoon, y’all!
Hey y’all! Hope you guys are havin’ a great start to your day. Today’s drink is a homemade whipped coffee! And it isn’t the normal one, it’s peppermint! I tried to make it Christmas-y, but I think I made it a little too heavy on the Christmas side. It’s like, good, but also too much. Lol We also have some Samantha Jo in the background, and I am ready to talk! Grab a coffee and let’s get into it!

Wednesday 12/3

Today I got up at 7am! I am so proud of myself that I’m getting up early. Big ‘ol pat on the back! After I got up, I grabbed a granola bar for some sustenance and took a shower. My hair was disgusting and needed to be cleaned.

When I was done, I got straight to writing the blog for the day. Now that I’m getting up early, I’m able to do things in the morning before writing. Before, I was rushing to write. Highly recommend y’all wake up earlier, it makes such a difference in your day.

After writing I got an early lunch, which was leftover Chili Verde. I personally can eat leftovers for days, and Chili Verde was something that was enough to eat for days. Haha! After eating, I continued with building my LEGO MOCs. I only had a few left to do, and I got them all finished! Might seem odd for a 21-year-old woman to enjoy building LEGOs, but that’s just me. 21 on the outside and 12 on the inside. Haha!

After finishing, I tried to see how much it would be to order all of the pieces on Pick-A-Brick on the LEGO website. I did like 4 pieces and gave up. It was a lot to go back and forth, not finding the right color, etc. So, to fix this, I went to my parent’s house to use my dad’s office. He’s got 2 mAsSiVe monitors, and it was so much nicer to use. Took awhile still, but was so much easier.

When I was done, I went home and grabbed a bite. Can you guess what I got? Yep, more Chili Verde. That’s just how I roll. While eating, and after, I watched some YouTube. Specifically, Samantha Jo.

While I was watching, I thought, “what if I start a YouTube channel for my blog?” I don’t explain every little detail in these and thought it would be fun if I showed y’all a little bit more than what you read. I started looking at cameras on the Facebook Marketplace and the selection wasn’t bad, but the prices were up there. I expected that, but for some reason it still shocked me. Haha. My plan is to use my phone until I get a good deal. I think. More updates on that in future blogs!

After my research, I went back to watching the queen, Samantha Jo, until Hubby came home. We hung out until it was time to get ready and go to bed. And we did just that!

Thursday 12/4

I got up at 7:30, early again! (And I got up early today, so that makes it, what, 3? 4 days? Lol) I got ready and went to the house to get more food for Tucker. Had to feed my pupper and day hi to my kitty! Banjo! After grabbing the dog food, I ordered some McDonalds on their app and headed there. I got the sausage egg McMuffin meal with a medium Sprite. And it was less than 10 bucks! It’s not the best idea to start with McDonalds at the beginning of the day, but it was so worth it.

After picking up my food, I went back to the “Family Airbnb” and fed and took the puppers outside. When they were done, I sat down and wrote the newsletter for the day. If y’all didn’t know, I have a newsletter called The Sugar Bowl! Y’all can sign up to the newsletter at the bottom of the page and more information about it is below!

After writing the newsletter, I switched out dogs and took them out. We can’t have both dogs in the house (rather than in a crate) because they are nuts together. So we have to switch out who gets free reign and who has to be put away. When it’s one dog out, that dog is so calm. Especially Tucker. After switching dogs, I didn’t have anything else to do for the day. I finished building my LEGOs, I didn’t have any writing that needed to get done, I was free! But then the bondage of boredom took over, so no one really won. Haha.

All I did for a few hours was look at the TV of which YouTube was on. Nothin exciting. Then I thought to make a whipped coffee, but the “Family Airbnb” didn’t have any instant coffee. So off the house I went. I grabbed all that I needed, and a book, and went to Raley’s. I didn’t have peppermint, so I swung by there to grab it and a few other things. After I was done, I went back to the “Family Airbnb” and at the same time Hubby came home. I didn’t have time to make it on that night, so I’m havin’ it while I write this post. Lol

We’ve been wanting to use the jacuzzi the whole time we’ve been here, but Hubby didn’t have tons of time at night after work. And tonight was finally the night we had time! It was so nice and relaxing. It was also great that Hubby and I had some time to just chit chat and talk about our days and other things.

When we were done, we took showers to get the chlorine off and hung out for the rest of the night. And when it was time to, we got ready and went to bed.

A Little Encouragement

Today’s Bible verse is Timothy 1:5:
“The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heat and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”

I want to thank all y’all for reading this post! Don’t forget to look at the very bottom of this page to sign up for my newsletter, The Sugar Bowl, if you want to get more writing from me! Stay warm and I hope to see you next time!

With a Spoonful of Sweetness, Rachel
