Days Filled With Movies and Resting
Good afternoon, y’all!
Hi y’all! I really hope all y’all are havin a great start to your day! Today’s post is going to be quite repetitive because I didn’t and couldn’t do much on most of the days. I didn’t feel very well and I sat on the couch waiting for it to pass for a few days. But, I’m going to try and cram as much content for y’all as I possibly can. With that, grab your favorite blanket, snuggle with your pup, and lets get started!
Friday 12/12
When I got up this morning, I didn’t feel good at all. I went straight to the couch, turned on some TV so I wouldn’t be fixated on the pain. I said somethin’ about it in my last post, but I was in a lot of pain. I completely forgot it was a blog post day, and when my alarm went off to check if the post was live, I panicked. I got up and started to write the post for the day. But if you read it, it was a quick one. It was hard to write, but I’m just glad I got somethin’ out to y’all. I do want to try and give myself some grace and leeway when it comes to things like not feeling good on a post day. For now, my plan is to do my best, and if I don’t feel well enough to write, I’ll tell y’all and rest for the day.
After writing, I returned to the couch and turned on some movies. First was Avatar, then the Raya and the Last Dragon. And after that, the sequel to Avatar, Avatar: The Way of Water. Needed a small break from the big movies, so Raya it was. As of writing this the new Avatar movie, Fire and Ash, is coming out this Friday (12/16)! Avatar is one of my favorite films and I can’t wait to see the next one!
After all the movies, I then turned on some YouTube. I was feeling better, but not great. Felt crummy and crappy. Hubby actually then called to see what I would like for dinner. Every time I don’t feel good or if I’m sick, he will make an effort to get me a fun dinner. Today I was feeling like some McDonalds. I got a large nugget meal with a Sprite and it was so good.
After eating, we hung out for a little bit, got ready and went to bed.
Saturday 12/13
To day I got up, grabbed something to eat and went to the couch. I was better than the day before, but not good enough to do my normal tasks. I had the TV in the background and was texting my Mom. My parents actually were just on a vacation to Walt Disney World and had just gotten back today!
Later in the day I was feeling much better, so I went over to their home to talk about their trip and look at photos. It was so nice getting to connect with them and hang out. My brother was also flying in that night from college and when it came, my parents went to the airport to pick him up. I left and came back home. Hubby was there doing some homework, and I got started on wrapping the cookie tins in some Christmas ribbon. When it was time, we got ready and went to bed.
Sunday 12/14
On Sunday, I got up and didn’t feel great. But, I grabbed some food, got ready and Hubby and I went to church. After, Hubby drove me home and I hung out on the couch…again. I wasn’t feeling great for a while, but I started to get much better. I think my body was telling me I had to take a break, get some rest and stop running around doing everything I needed to do. I told myself I had to do something all in a day when really it was a 5 day task. While hanging out, I watched more movies. Today was Monsters Inc. and Monsters University. These movies will always be a classic for me.
When Hubby came home from helping his grandparents, I was feeling much better. Just needed some rest. We then hung out for a few hours before getting ready and going to bed.
