Short, Sweet and to the Point
Good Afternoon y’all!
Today’s post is going to be a bit different than normal. First let’s address the obvious, I’m posting pretty late. Usually I’m posting at 1pm, but today is different. I don’t currently feel the best, but still wanted to give y’all somethin’ to read. I will still go over my days and what I did. But this time, it’s going to be shorter than usual. Not as many details, trailing off, etc. because I don’t feel well. With that, grab your coziest blanket, maybe even a warm drink and lets get to the quick wrap up of my last two days.
Wednesday 12/10
I got up early and went straight to my parents home to hopefully put a dent into getting the Christmas Cookie boxes ready. I dipped the stamp cookies in some simple thinned out frosting and left them on drying racks to dry. While I waited, I went to the office to work on the lego progect I’m currently doing. When the frosting was set, I did the same once more dipping more cookies. When it was time, I packed everything up and went home.
Thursday 12/11
I believe I got up later than usual and got ready to go to my parents home again. As soon as I got there, I startd to put together the cookie tins for friends and family. I cut partchment paper, designed things to go inside the tin to tell people what they are getting, and make them look all nice. I was only able to do the parchment paper because I needed to put the paper in the tin and the printer doesn’t work. When I was finished with however much i could get done with the tins, I started to clean up my parents home. Make it look like I wasn’t even there. Well, besides some fun gifts for them. I’m not going to say what they got because my mom reads these. But I know they will both love what was left for them.
After cleaning up, I went to the office to work on more of the lego cat. I’m trying to make the lego tuxedo cat into a brown tabby so he would match Banjo. I did as much as time alowed and I packed everything up. When the truck was loaded up with cookie tins, I left for home. When I got home, Hubby and I had a pizza, spent time hanging out and went to bed.
A Little Encouragment
Today’s Bible verse is verse Matthew 11: 28-30:
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Again, so sorry this is so short, but really my last two days were filled with cookie making. I hope you guys have a great and blessed rest of your day. Unfortunately there will be no pictures for this post, maybe on Monday though.
